I have dealt with the same problem for years....wash area with warm washcloth and remove all crusts, infection, etc....dry completely with clean towel and apply generous amount of paste made of castor oil and baking soda....apply twice daily and clean/dry area each time before.....only takes 3-4 days and area will be healed!!! I have tried every shampoo, medicine, etc and this is the only thing that worked!!
