I agree. I’ve tried to groom my dogs, and it’s not easy. I think if dogs aren’t groomed regularly from an early age, they just get too excited when you’re trying to mess with them. They want to play or run away. My lab now lays down and submits, irritatingly enough, when I just try to brush her. It’s cute and makes me laugh but is very frustrating. I finally learned I had to put her leash on and tie it around the porch post at her head height so she couldn’t lay down while I brushed her.
I’m glad you pointed this out! I used a place in Rowlett ONCE, & my dog never let me touch her paws again; she would scream in fear if I got near them. When I’d arrived to pick her up, the staff were yelling at the dogs, yanking the ropes around their necks to get them to stand still, & the dogs were shaking in fear. Horrified, I asked to speak to the owner, & the cashier pointed to the meanest woman there & said, that’s her. !!!
This is a great “ad” for PetSmart b/c of how excited your dog is to get there! I had a great experience w/”Pet Love,” a mobile grooming svc. that comes to your door (in DFW) in a cute purple van for not a lot extra. You know how your pets are doing in there b/c the vent stays open, and the pets come back really happy. =)

thanks about the shirt got it on ebay and i call him mr excitable because he goes ape s when we put his harness on. he loves petsmart he even knows the parking lot when we pull up he starts jumping around

i have to admit petsmart does pride themselves for putting their grooming in plain view and they are very upfront about injuries at least most of them, sometimes bad things happen and it sucks but dogs move alot it cant be easy
Yah wanna know why that is? Because EVERY fucking groomer nicks and cuts dogs, PETSMART is like the only company that holds itself accountable for cutting dogs, actually brings them in and will pay for grooming expenses from injury. Most salons won’t do that, so THAT is why you see so many from PetSmart. Not because they suck, but because they actually take accountability for their actions
